Sage Spiral is a Land Art installation created in the Mojave Desert in California. It is built with California native woods where a red cord ties a sage bundle to each piece of wood. Once the art installation was created, the sage bundles burn, creating a sage smoke spiral, where the people who participated could come inside the spiral, receiving energy cleansing shared by the aroma of the sacred sage plant smoke. Once the installation was finished, the woods were used to make a sacred fire for the healing of all living beings.
